HTMLPrimer.com has been redesigned and relaunched with new features aimed towards improving usability and user collaboration. The site's main attraction, the Collaborative HTML Primer, is being reintroduced in a wiki-like format, which enables site visitors to edit its contents. Other improvements include a new flexible user management system, an Ajax voting system, and improved design layout.

First Adobe worked hard to develop the new Flex platform and to release the CS3 package, then Microsoft released Silverlight. Adobe took note of the giant treading in their territory, and announced they'll be opensourcing Flex: these days open source means wider adoption and free publicity. Now Microsoft will be opensourcing parts of Silverlight.
The clash is imminent.

Google has acquired Tonic Systems and its technology for presentation creation and document conversion, and confirmed that Google Docs and Spreadsheets will be complemented by presentations.
Google's collection of productivity tool is thus nearly complete.
